A Istanbul Bear Week é uma série de festas para ursos com DJs convidados, promovida pelo Stay Club, um clube gay com foco em ursos em Beyoğlu, perto de Taksim, na primavera e no outono, sob o nome Middle Eastern Bear Week. É um evento de clube, não um Pride. O governador de Istanbul baniu a marcha do Pride todos os anos desde 2015 e a polícia detém pessoas que tentam marchar. Os locais gays fechados continuam funcionando, mas mantêm um perfil discreto: não postam rostos nem marcam os locais.
