About This Event
Istanbul Bear Week is a run of bear parties with guest DJs promoted by Stay Club, a bear-leaning gay club in Beyoğlu near Taksim, in spring and autumn under the name Middle Eastern Bear Week. It is a club event, not a Pride. Istanbul's governor has banned the Pride march every year since 2015 and police detain people who try to march. Indoor gay venues keep operating, but keep a low profile: don't post faces or tag venues.
A listing gave 11 to 20 September 2026, but we couldn't confirm it with the club. An earlier bear festival, Istanbear, ran in September 2014. No 2027 dates had been announced when we checked.
