What reviewers say

Visitors praise the venue's visual appeal and good dances, with some finding the service and security friendly and making them feel safe. However, multiple reviewers complain about mandatory and expensive table service with overpriced drinks, a lack of a traditional dancefloor, and issues with staff at the entrance trying to take extra money. Some also noted the club felt half-empty and less impressive than in the past.

About this place X-Large Club

X-Large, a gay dance club, once held court in Beyoğlu, near Taksim, with its drag and show nights. It's supposedly relocated to Maslak, Sarıyer, the business district far north of the old nightlife area, but we can't confirm this. Istanbul's gay nightlife operates under a lot of pressure. Venues shut down or move without warning, and Pride events have been banned for years. You'll need to do some legwork before heading out: check the current address and hours through social media or the listed phone number. And be prepared for a long taxi ride from central Beyoğlu.
