Great hotel, with a good location, and a very tasty breakfast with many options.

We stayed with a group of 30 teenagers. Everything was as expected. Polite and helpful staff. The breakfast was very varied, with different options each day. Rooms with excellent views of the north waterfront and Hercílio Cruz bridge. Fair price. I recommend it.

Despite its central location, I was very disappointed with the hotel. The noise in the hallways is enormous and makes it impossible to sleep. When it's not guests slamming doors, it's dogs barking, children screaming, or the maids chatting and dragging furniture. I don't intend to return anytime soon. If you intend to sleep, don't go.

I didn't stay at the hotel... I went there for an interview for a modeling agency.

The room had terrible lighting, there was no hairdryer (we requested one and they brought a very old one), and early Saturday morning we were woken up at 6:30 am by loud noises upstairs that sounded like rocks were being rolled, and it wasn't a guest. The breakfast is the saving grace; I've stayed here several times just for the location, but now we'll reconsider.

Small rooms, the only redeeming feature is the view of the Hercilo Luz bridge. No hairdryer in the bathroom. Terrible, old social elevator. Rusty door, noisy and ugly. Breakfast is okay, without many options beyond the basics. For the daily rate, it's overpriced.

Rooms lacking maintenance, we entered a "luxury" room and on the second day the air conditioning started leaking water, they transferred us to a very cramped inferior room claiming they didn't have rooms of the same standard available. They didn't offer an upgrade or help to accommodate our belongings in the new room. They don't have bilingual (English) reception staff. The fire escape door had a broken handle, with a "wedge" being used for safety in case of evacuation. I took some photos so you can get an idea of ​​how amateurish it is. Receptionist Otto was arrogant, when asked if coffee was available he said he was a receptionist and didn't even want to direct us or give us the correct extension.
