About this place O Brejo Encantado - Hospedagem e Hostel

O Brejo Encantado is a small hostel and guesthouse (hospedagem) on a semi-rural road in the Chácaras São Cristovão area of Embu das Artes, in the hills west of São Paulo. It is a mainstream gay-friendly place to stay, not a gay venue, and it suits budget travellers who want green surroundings rather than city-centre convenience. Guests rate it well (4.7 from 131 Google reviews). It has no website of its own; bookings and updates go through its Facebook page or the phone number listed. Embu's old town, known for its weekend crafts market, is a short drive away. Without a car you will rely on buses or ride-hail, so plan transport before you book.
