About this place Stilo Hotel

Stilo Hotel is a mainstream gay-friendly business hotel on Avenida Brasil in the centre of Itapevi, a commuter city on the western edge of greater São Paulo. It is not a gay venue. It mostly serves people working in the area, and a 3.8 Google average over 330-plus reviews suggests a basic, functional stay. Itapevi is on CPTM Line 8, which runs into São Paulo, but the trip to the city's gay areas around Rua Frei Caneca and República takes over an hour. Stay here only if your business is out this way.

It was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. The staff were uninterested in performing the bare minimum of customer service. When I went out in the morning, the receptionist said there was no running water for showering, which is a surprise because hotels usually have a water tank. I went to the pharmacy 50 meters from the hotel and asked if they had running water, and they did! Clearly, they shut off the water to save money... This stay was a complete disaster. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, and I hope this comment helps people avoid this place under any circumstances. It's a terrible little place.
