A unique hostel experience 😍🤩 I only stayed 3 nights but it was all sooooo good! The staff are very nice, the rooms are clean and safe, and the included breakfast was delicious 🥞☕️ I highly recommend this place! 🩷

I stayed at Hostel Discovery from April 3rd to April 5th and was very well received by Stefhany, José, Ali, Sol, and Gabriel. I had already been there for the first time in December and was enchanted by the place. The way the staff welcome guests is incredible: they always give tips on places to visit and are willing to help with everything. The hostel receives many international guests, which can be a bit challenging for those who don't speak English or Spanish. Even so, there's always someone nearby willing to help with communication. I, personally, loved the experience. You meet people from different parts of the world and end up making friendships you never imagined you'd have. And the hostel bar, which is open from 8 pm to 10 pm with two-for-one caipirinhas, is largely responsible for these connections that arise during the trip! I have nothing to complain about. The location is great, close to everything: bus, subway, fair, market, and city center. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff are top-notch. I will definitely come back again!

Super nice and helpful staff, organizing events all week and great atmosphere. Great place to meet people. Right next to a metro station too. Showers would benefit from hangers but other than that, no complaints

Discovery Hostel was a fantastic experience in terms of value and price: a very welcoming place with a great atmosphere and a wonderful environment of community, cleanliness, order, and helpful staff. The location is great, close to the Gloria fair on Sundays and very well connected for getting around the city center, the historic district, Flamengo, and other attractions. The clear and consistently enforced rules of conduct are greatly appreciated. Even during parties, everyone can coexist peacefully without it affecting their rest. Details like the no-smoking policy during breakfast contribute to a more pleasant environment for everyone. The guests are generally adults and respectful, something that is also noticeable after parties. The shared rooms are well-designed: each bed has its own storage chest, a lamp, a bookshelf, and curtains that provide some privacy. The room had a fan and air conditioning during set hours, which made the stay more comfortable. Although the sheets are warm due to the synthetic material, they were clean, and the mattress was super comfortable. The hostel also offers some very enjoyable spaces: a rooftop terrace, workspaces with desks, and indoor and outdoor areas for meeting and relaxing. It's a rather rustic and small place, but very functional. Without a doubt, it's a place I would return to and highly recommend. I especially want to highlight the breakfasts prepared with the care and dedication of Leticia Marina, Rayuni, and Rayner: an incredible team, always attentive, creating a harmonious and welcoming atmosphere.
