Domos Los Abuelos
Visitors frequently praise the friendly and helpful staff, with many describing the service as excellent and the people as very kind. However, some guests complain about the domes getting very warm without air conditioning and one review strongly alleges the venue is a scam, with facilities not matching photos and an abandoned appearance.

They're incredibly rude. They treat customers badly. They treated me terribly when I complained about an incorrect charge. I booked through Agoda with the condition that payment would be made upon arrival, but the accommodation took my card details without my permission and charged the full amount of the reservation in advance. I contacted Agoda, and they told me the charge was incorrect, but the owner's response was still to treat me badly and block me on WhatsApp. He kept my money, $224,000. And I have no way to get it back. SHAMELESS.
I was charged in advance even though the booking stated payment was due upon arrival. I contacted the accommodation and they treated me terribly, offering no solution whatsoever.
Terrible accommodation. I booked through Agoda, where the booking confirmation stated that payment should be made at the accommodation with no upfront charges. The accommodation charged me the full amount of the booking without my consent, accessing my card details. I contacted the accommodation and they treated me terribly, offering no explanation whatsoever. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.
The rooms are igloo-shaped, very beautiful, and with very well-utilized space. Giant beds and very large bathrooms.
I stayed in these domes in March. The location is convenient, a 10-minute walk from the main street. The rooms are comfortable for relaxing, and the bathroom and shower work well. The dome I stayed in had a fan, and there's also a private outdoor relaxation area (hammock and chairs). (There's no TV, but that wasn't a problem for me.) The breakfasts are varied, and if you have very early tours, you can request a snack instead of breakfast. The staff is very friendly, and they clean the dome every day. If you need a hairdryer, they'll provide one at reception. There's also parking available. In the common areas, there's an outdoor lounge area, tables for eating, a shared refrigerator that you can use without any problems, and the pool (the size is as shown in the photos). Overall, a great experience! I recommend this accommodation.
