Sami Atacama Lodge
Visitors often praise the excellent service, friendly owners, and delicious, homemade breakfasts, with some highlighting the relaxing natural surroundings and family-like atmosphere. However, common complaints include the inconvenient location far from the town center, limited shuttle service, and issues with room amenities like bathtubs lacking plugs or showers with unadjustable temperatures. Some guests also reported hygiene concerns regarding pet hair and excrement in common areas.

Excellent service. Very friendly owners, very complete breakfast. Natural surroundings perfect for relaxing.
Anyone making a reservation at this hotel should absolutely not request a date change. I tried to do so a week before my arrival due to personal reasons, and they arbitrarily refused and charged me 50% of the reservation. If you request a change six days prior, they will refuse and charge you 100% of the reservation.
I want to formally register my dissatisfaction with my stay at your hostel, as the experience fell far short of my expectations. During my stay, I found dog excrement in the common areas, specifically in the hammock areas, which is completely unacceptable from a hygiene and maintenance standpoint. Furthermore, there was cat or dog hair on the sofas, demonstrating a lack of cleanliness and care in the common areas. In addition, the soundproofing is very poor, as I could hear everything that happened in the other rooms, making it difficult to rest. There was also the clattering of dishes from approximately 8:00 a.m., which disturbed the guests' rest at an unreasonable hour. Furthermore, I must mention that there was no willingness or willingness to address or resolve the concerns raised, which only added to the discomfort during my stay. Finally, the hostel is located quite far from the city center, which wasn't clearly communicated and caused additional difficulties with transportation. For all the reasons stated above, I believe the service provided does not meet basic standards of cleanliness, comfort, and customer service. I hope you can review these issues and take steps to improve the quality of service offered to future guests.
Large rooms and bathrooms, quiet hotel, but quite far from the center of San Pedro (25-minute walk). They offer a shuttle service, but only every two hours. At breakfast, you can order up to four items, but the portions are small (scrambled eggs, ham, cheese, etc.). The rooms have bathtubs, but without plugs, so you can't really fill them with water and can only take showers. They have a free outdoor jacuzzi, but if you have dyed blonde hair, don't even think about going in! My hair turned green from the minerals in the water and the chlorine, and the hotel didn't even offer a warning or a half-hearted apology. Overall, I don't recommend it; I'm sure there are better hotels in town.
Excellent
Adorable little family run bed and breakfast. Great value, nice little pool/hot tub lounging areas either hammocks, beautiful homemade breakfast. Shoutout to the youngest daughter who was very sweet and helpful.
