What reviewers say

Visitors frequently praise the Terrantai Lodge for its friendly and attentive staff, beautiful design incorporating adobe architecture, and pleasant extras like afternoon wine and cheese tastings. However, some guests found their rooms and bathrooms to be small, and a few mentioned that noise from other rooms could be easily heard.

From the outside the hotel is very unassuming but when you enter you're met with an amazing, genuine welcome and enter a little oasis of peace and tranquility in the desert! The facilities, the service and especially the people were all amazing. They really made a difference to my stay. It's ideally situated just off the main street so within easy access of bars, restaurants, etc.

We had an excellent experience during our stay. The hotel is extremely comfortable, very well located, and has an impeccable structure. The rooms were clean, quiet, and cozy, providing great rest after excursions in the Atacama Desert. The service deserves special mention: the entire team was extremely cordial, attentive, and always willing to help with recommendations and support during the trip. The breakfast was also very good, with varied and high-quality options, starting at 4 am. Without a doubt, a wonderful experience in San Pedro de Atacama. I highly recommend it and would certainly stay there again.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Terrantai Lodge. The room was perfect, with a very comfortable bed and linen. Wine tasting and tea time were a very nice addition and a good way for hotel guests to meet each other. The hotel is perfectly located. It's incredibly quiet when you're in the hotel, yet you're right in the middle of town, with shops and restaurants all around. The staff were attentive and able to recommend things to do and places to see. We would definitely return!

Amazing place! Cozy and fantastic location! Close to everything and yet not noisy from the street. It offers special amenities for guests, such as tea and water dispensers available 24/7, and a daily wine tasting. Special mention to the professionalism and kindness of Cristiano and Inocencia!

I made a reservation for January 2026, paid for the hotel, and now I've received an email saying that the hotel will not be able to fulfill what they sold me and has cancelled my reservation. Lack of organization and commitment to the customer.

A very charming hotel in the heart of San Pedro, with a very welcoming, smiling and attentive team, and a little wine tasting in the early evening that you shouldn't miss!
