Amazing atmosphere

The host was incredibly hospitable (and spoke excellent English), and was very helpful in resolving any issues I encountered. They even introduced me to local cultural activities and assisted with arranging the tour to Titicaca Lake and subsequent airport transfers. I felt very comfortable and at ease during my stay! The amenities included a slight chill at night due to the lack of heating (but the provided blankets and comforters solved this problem), inconsistent hot water temperature (sometimes fluctuating), and a lack of a hairdryer, but overall, these were minor issues. I'm very happy with my two-night stay at Casa Panqarani in Puno. The hospitable host and the culturally rich room/garden made for a wonderful travel experience.

A nice hotel near the center of Puno. It's about a 10-minute walk to the Plaza de Armas. The outdoor area has a generally pleasant atmosphere, but unfortunately, our room was quite dark, as was the breakfast room. The room temperature is probably comfortable in the summer, but we were really cold, and there was no heating. A mother and daughter seem to run the hotel, and while they were friendly, they seemed reserved. All in all, a cute-looking hotel at a reasonable price, with a few drawbacks.

Oscar, his mother and his partner were wonderful hosts during our two-nights stay. Casa Panqarani was by far the nicest and most comfortable hotel we stayed in while traveling through Peru. It is the perfect place if you are looking for something more personal and authentic than the usual booking.com hotel. Breakfast was also a highlight, as fresh juices changed daily and the scrambled eggs were very tasty. Casa Panqarani has also a cafè which is open to the public from 5 pm where you can have good and inexpensive meals. At the end of my stay I was feeling sick and the hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. An additional advantage for German and international travellers: Oscar speaks very good German and English.

A small, family-run hotel. The room is typical, but unfortunately a bit cold! A heater available to all guests would be sufficient. Breakfast is too short for a vacationer; 8:00 a.m. is too early. Heat the breakfast room. Recommended

For me, it's absolutely yes. A colonial-style place with cozy rooms. Family-run. Tips: Find a way to heat the rooms and extend breakfast past 8:00 AM.

A very beautiful place, I loved it...I love all the decor, the little plants, the vintage-style lights, and the great service.

Had an absolutely fabulous three-night stay with host Ursula around a Lake Titicaca excursion. She’s enormously resourceful and helped us with organizing trips around Puno and input for later travels around Peru. Rooms are cozy even when it’s cold out, and well-equipped. Breakfast in the downstairs cafe is tasty and great value for money. Do ask to have the hosts prepare some dinner, that too was a great experience culinarily and in terms of ambience.😊

Super nice room and attentive service. The space feels very personal and cosy. It’s calm and the inner patio is very relaxing.
