Casa Andina Standard Puno

We only stayed one night, but the room and bathroom were fine, and the cleanliness was also good. Breakfast was adequate. The hotel is close to the center, and overall everything was fine for one night.

I arrived in Puno late and asked for hot water to make cup noodles, and the staff member promptly and pleasantly accommodated my request. The room was also clean and tidy.

I recently stayed at this hotel for a two-night trip, and unfortunately, it was a major disappointment from start to finish. Despite booking a double bed through our travel agency well in advance, we were dismissed upon arrival and given two single beds instead. The front desk simply stated that no double rooms were available and suggested we move the following day. Since we were only there for two nights and were already exhausted, the prospect of repacking and switching rooms halfway through our stay was completely impractical. The service level was equally frustrating. While we took the initiative to help the staff with luggage during check-in, that courtesy was certainly not returned. At check-out, we were offered zero assistance, leaving us to manage everything ourselves. As for the room itself: • Soundproofing: Non-existent. We could hear every conversation from neighboring rooms and were woken up early by the noise of other guests heading to breakfast. • Breakfast: Very poor and mediocre. The selection was extremely limited and lacked quality. Overall, between the lack of basic room requirements and the indifferent staff, I would not recommend staying here. There are far better options that actually value their guests.

Perfect 👌 hot shower and noise proof close to downtown

A group of us had dinner there two nights in a row, and neither night was the dinner we enjoyed. I asked if they could bring us something else, and they said it would cost extra. One of my companions is allergic to the mushrooms in the dinner and asked for something else, but they said they couldn't. There was no elevator in the area where my room was, and the heating was poor. The breakfast was very average.

Very comfortable hotel, the rooms are heated, and the service is good. They really make you feel at home.
