We traveled through Peru in our campervan, and without exaggeration, this was the best place we spent the night on the entire trip. For those traveling in campervans or motorhomes, this place is a true gem. They have space to park and spend the night on the premises, although I recommend arriving in a 4x4 vehicle, as the access is challenging. But that's precisely what makes the experience so special: once you're up there, the reward is simply spectacular. The view over Puno and Lake Titicaca is one of those that leaves you speechless for a long time. Sunrise and sunset here are a spectacle in themselves. The feeling of tranquility, height, and spaciousness is difficult to describe; you have to experience it. The service deserves special mention. All the staff have a genuine sense of service; it's not just about being friendly. They are truly attentive to your comfort, whether you need anything, and to making your stay perfect. You can tell when someone loves what they do, and it's very evident here. In addition, they offer water, Wi-Fi, a restaurant with delicious food, and the option to arrange tours directly from the hotel, making everything much easier. And the best part is that you don't need your own vehicle to enjoy the place. The hotel provides shuttle service to and from the city, as well as assistance with any transportation you may need during your stay, making it an excellent option for both campervan travelers and those exploring Puno in a more traditional way. Another detail we loved was the hotel's resident dogs. They are affectionate, friendly, and always appear to keep you company for a while. They also have alpacas that are part of the hotel family, and it's heartwarming to see the love and care they give their animals. It's a place where respect for people and for all living beings is evident. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, safe, and quiet. It's one of those places where you arrive intending to stay one night and end up wanting to stay several more. The value for money is excellent, and honestly, it's hard to find anything to improve. If you're traveling through Puno, especially if you're looking for a unique experience with unforgettable views, top-notch service, and an authentic atmosphere, this place is worth a visit. For us, it wasn't just accommodation: it was one of the best experiences of our entire trip through Peru and, without a doubt, the best place we've stayed so far.
We have been traveling across Peru in our camper, and without exaggeration, this has been the best place we have stayed during our entire trip. For campervan and motorhome travelers, this place is an absolute gem. There is plenty of space to park and spend the night on the property. I would recommend arriving in a 4x4 vehicle, as the access road can be challenging, but that is also part of what makes this place so special. Once you get there, the reward is simply breathtaking. The view over Puno and Lake Titicaca is something that leaves you speechless. Sunrise and sunset are spectacular, and the feeling of peace, space, and being high above the city is hard to put into words. The staff deserve a special mention. They do not just provide good service—they genuinely care about their guests. They are always making sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. You can tell they truly enjoy what they do, and it makes all the difference. The hotel provides water, Wi-Fi, a restaurant serving delicious food, and assistance with organizing local tours, making everything incredibly convenient. One of the best things is that you do not need your own vehicle to enjoy this place. The hotel offers transportation to and from the city and can also help arrange transportation during your stay, making it an excellent option for both road travelers and traditional tourists. Another detail we loved were the resident guardian dogs. They are friendly, affectionate, and always seem to check in on you. The hotel also has pet alpacas, and it is wonderful to see how well cared for they are. It is clear that the people here have great respect not only for their guests but also for the animals that are part of the property. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, safe, and quiet. It is the kind of place where you plan to stay for one night and immediately wish you had booked several more. The value for money is outstanding, and honestly, it is difficult to find anything to criticize. If you are visiting Puno and looking for a unique experience with unforgettable views, exceptional hospitality, and a truly authentic atmosphere, this place is a must. For us, it was much more than just accommodation—it was one of the highlights of our trip through Peru and, without a doubt, the best place we have stayed so far.
My two-day stay at Mirador del Titicaca was exceptional. I highly recommend it based on the following aspects: the unbeatable tranquility of its elevated location on the outskirts of the city, the spaciousness and wonderful panoramic views of the lake and Puno from every room, the cleanliness, and the excellent quality of its restaurant. Special mention goes to the friendly service of the manager, Romario, who flawlessly handled all our needs, including heating, transfers, and excursions.
Excellent service. Highly recommended for anyone who loves nature and escaping the usual city noise. The best part was the food; Freddy surprises us every day with spectacular dishes.
Simply 10 stars! The best hotel in Peru The most helpful and friendly staff Incredibly service-oriented with attention to detail Great food, beautiful views from the restaurant and rooms Hot water Heating (pre-warmed before arrival) Wet laundry was conveniently dried while we were out Excellent organization of excursions Very quiet location Tea was always available We didn't want to leave! The access road is a bit bumpy, but that didn't bother us. Thank you for everything, Ann and Randy!
Exceptional location with elevated view of Lake Titicaca and with a short walk within the property 360 deg views including reed island. The property has lots of fauna that attracts humming birds and their pet Alpacas are delightful. The owner is a very experienced chef and the food extremely good. The rooms are large and the hotel has character and each room spectacular views. It’s a 10 minute drive by taxi. The hotel can arrange this for 15 pen. Well worth it to get away from noisy town. We stayed two days and did not leave! Under new ownership since Feb26. We are from UK on multi top holiday
Strategically located with an unparalleled view: from here you can admire the entire city of Puno and the majestic Lake Titicaca in all its splendor. The food is spectacular, and the staff's service is five-star; they are incredibly attentive and always ready to help. Transportation tip: I highly recommend the taxi and tour service they suggest. They are safe, completely reliable, and very competitively priced compared to any taxi app. They also make getting to Juliaca airport much easier, which is a huge logistical relief. The animals that share the property are beautiful and make your stay even more special. A highly recommended experience!
