About the venue
New York New York is one of the older bars in Manchester's Gay Village, on Bloom Street just off Canal Street. It's a cabaret and drag bar rather than a cocktail lounge. There are regular drag hosts, live acts and singalongs, and the crowd is older and more mixed than in the clubs nearby…
“This used to be a regular haunt years ago but don't go into Manchester much anymore. I suggested it as a bit of a nostalgia trip and we had the best time there yesterday doing karaoke with a great crowd. Athena was hilarious and really made our time there a memorable one. Will hopefully be back again in the not too distant future!” — Nick Lomas, Google
“Either super busy or quiet. Amazing atmosphere when it's busy so 5 stars” — Isabella, Google
