READ THE REVIEWS! Unbiased - worst hotel experience ever. 4 night stay, 3 separate rooms, attending a wedding in the city. They only ever have one person working at the front and took an average of 15-30 minutes to receive assistance. Rooms were dirty and completely different from the pictures. One of the washrooms shower facets would come off, mildew and mould found in showers. I found a disturbing hole in one of the showers, a dark opening in the wall right under the shower head - I covered up so the girls felt comfortable to shower. Another room had a leak (from the rain) and got all over our clothes. Shows the integrity of the building can’t keep water out - the water seeped in from under the floor boards assuming from the rain. When we brought this up to the lady at the front she told us to hold tight (I showed her pictures of the leak and the article of clothing). After waiting for 15 minutes she told us that the managers are talking and that they would call us in 2 minutes - which we respected, they offered us that we move our stuff into another room. We left the hotel 2 hours later and told the lady that no one called. So this is where they stop communicating and trying to solve the issue at hand. They never ended up calling, we confronted them and told them we were waiting and now had to leave for our event. They told us that the manager isn’t actually here and they will come tomorrow. When we asked for a phone number or name of the manager so WE can contact them (due to a lack of communication on their end) the lady told us that they don’t have one - and that we can email. After receiving the email address she let us know that we’ll get a call tomorrow and the manager will be here to have a chat with us in the morning. Of course, we emailed a detailed email with all the images and videos of said problem, and came to the front the next morning. Behold, no manager, no response… they told us to email again. It’s been 2 weeks and they haven’t gotten back to us and stopped picking up our calls. We have property that got destoryed, a stressful week which was meant to be a treat. This really sucks and honestly I’m sorry for anyone that stays here. There’s a reason the hotel is empty. Btw they don’t have any complimentary water - they say they do but the water jug is always empty. And the pool is under “maintenance for a week” but I have a feeling it’s been closed for a while.. this place cuts every corner possible, I feel bad for the staff. Scammers…

I stayed at Divya Sutra Hotel Calgary for 7 days and was disappointed with the overall experience, mainly due to poor communication between the front desk and housekeeping staff. According to the hotel’s housekeeping policy, guests can request housekeeping service every third night. On my third night, I spoke with a front desk agent who acknowledged my request and assured me that housekeeping would be done. However, when I returned to my room that evening, absolutely nothing had been done. I went back to the front desk and was again told that housekeeping would take care of it. When I returned the following night, only part of the service had been completed. The bedsheets were changed and the washroom was cleaned, but the towels were not replaced, toiletries such as soap were not replenished, and the floor had not been vacuumed. There is clearly a communication problem between the front desk and housekeeping teams. It seems they are not properly informed about what services need to be completed, which leads to guests being ignored or receiving incomplete service. In addition, the room itself was quite outdated. The sofa had visible stains, one of the chairs was broken, several TV channels were not working properly, and the lamps also had stains on them. There were no napkins or paper towels provided in the room. Many of the amenities and services described in the hotel’s policy were either missing or not delivered as expected. Overall, the stay was disappointing, and I hope management improves communication between departments and pays more attention to room maintenance and guest service.

I was here for a celebration. The hall was elegantly decorated for event.

I checked in around 5pm. And on checking the room the thermostat was not working. I called the desk right way that temperature is set up at 23 and thermostat is not working. The guy at front desk said someone will be there in 15-20 minutes. No body showed up for an hour. I went to front desk and told them please fix it im heading out for an event will be back in few hours just bring it to 19c. They said okay. I clearly mentioned them that i have migraine issue i cant sleep in heat. They said it will be fixed when u come back. I came back around 11 it was still the same. Room was hot. I called the front desk again. Same answer someone will be there in 10-15 minutes. Still nobody came for 30 minutes. I went downstairs and explained the situation again. After 10 minutes they send the guy with me and on checking he said we can’t fix it. They asked us to change the room at 1am. It was so frustrating. Then i called the front desk again that we will be checking out at 12 as it’s already too late. But next morning housekeeping lady start knocking on door around 11. And didn’t stop for good 5 minutes. It was worst hotel ever and never had this kind of bad experience in any hotel.

Horrible front desk. Black guy was useless. Called online was told to come in. Came in 5 mins after and all a sudden they sold out and that was only response I got. No explanation or sorry. Just “we’re sold out next”

The service was excellent I will definitely stay there again.
