Good
pretty nice hotel. Guy working in the evening was great, quick, efficient. Hotel it’s pretty old i’ll admit, however, for the price it is a really nice and comfortable stay and it’s close to pretty much a lot of things. It has a pool, didnt try it but it was pretty neat and people seemed to enjoy their time there. Loved the balconies on the second floor, really added a great touch to my stay :) I’d probably take a look at fixing the lighting on the rooms though, some of the lamps did not work. As well as the curtains, I could not open them to let light in.
Booked through Agoda at one of the lowest rates of our trip. Room is huge with a king bed, vanity outside the bathroom (handy for couples), iron and board, fridge, TV. Pool and jacuzzi are bonuses at this price. A few quirks: the movable-letter sign out front is easy to miss, room heat wasn't working so they brought a portable plug-in unit, and towels and pillow count are basic. Closer to transit than to downtown. Parking lot has a hang-out vibe in the evenings. For the price, hard to argue.
Amir is the perfect example of what happens when an ignorant, close minded person gets the smallest amount of authority and suddenly thinks they are important. Completely arrogant, dismissive, and incapable of listening like a normal human being. You can instantly tell this is probably the only position of “power” he has ever had because he wears it with desperation instead of professionalism. Honestly embarrassing to watch. No empathy, no emotional intelligence, no hospitality skills, no willingness to help. Just attitude, ego, and condescension for absolutely no reason. People like him are exactly why customer service becomes such a miserable experience. It is honestly sad that someone so unprofessional and emotionally immature is the face guests have to deal with. Instead of acting like an adult capable of resolving situations calmly, he behaves like someone desperate to feel authority over others. Absolutely exhausting interaction with a deeply unpleasant person.
