It is honestly disturbing what happens when an arrogant and deeply unprofessional person is given even the smallest amount of authority. Instead of listening, helping, or handling the situation professionally, Amir immediately chose intimidation. I was calmly explaining that the room was unsanitary and unacceptable, and rather than trying to resolve the issue, he repeatedly threatened to call the police as if that was supposed to scare me into staying quiet. From the beginning, he acted completely dismissive, arrogant, confrontational, and unwilling to help in any way. He constantly interrupted me, refused to actually listen, and behaved as though basic customer service and common sense were beneath him. It genuinely felt like dealing with someone incapable of having a normal, respectful conversation with a guest. What made the situation even worse was the way he twisted the situation and falsely claimed I was “disturbing guests,” when in reality I was calm the entire time. The police actually showed up, spoke with me for barely a moment, realized immediately there was no issue whatsoever, and left. That alone completely exposed how unnecessary and exaggerated his behavior was. Instead of resolving a legitimate complaint about a filthy room, cigarette smell, disgusting bathroom, and stained sheets, Amir chose to go on a power trip and escalate the situation unnecessarily. It honestly felt like he cared more about asserting authority than actually doing his job. The level of ignorance, arrogance, lack of professionalism, and complete absence of hospitality skills was unbelievable. Dirty rooms are already unacceptable, but being treated with intimidation and hostility for simply asking for basic cleanliness and respect made the entire experience even worse. Absolutely horrible experience. Avoid this place.

Horrible experience from beginning to end. This hotel was disgusting, but what made everything even worse was the behavior of the front desk employee, Amir. The first room smelled strongly like cigarettes. The second room was filthy, with a disgusting bathroom and stained sheets. Clearly nobody properly cleans these rooms. Completely unsanitary and honestly unacceptable for any hotel. When I calmly tried to explain the situation and ask for help, Amir was beyond rude and completely useless. He did not listen at all, had absolutely no intention of helping, kept interrupting me, dismissing everything I said, and repeating the same excuses over and over again with an attitude the entire time. Instead of handling the situation professionally, he threatened multiple times to call the police as if that was supposed to intimidate me. Even worse, he lied about me and my attitude, claiming I was “disturbing guests,” which was completely false. I was calm the entire time. There was even another guest nearby who witnessed the interaction and confirmed there was no disturbance at all. The police actually showed up because of his unnecessary call, spoke to me for a minute, realized there was obviously no issue, and left immediately. That alone says everything. I have honestly never dealt with someone so unprofessional, aggressive, dismissive, and unwilling to help in customer service before. Instead of trying to solve a legitimate complaint about a dirty and unsanitary room, Amir chose to escalate the situation and intimidate a guest. After that, I no longer felt safe or comfortable staying there and had to spend extra money booking another hotel. Absolutely terrible customer service, terrible cleanliness, and an overall awful experience. Stay far away from this place.

I'm giving it one star just based on the other reviewers and the shocking photos they have uploaded. Anyone wanting to preserve their health would want to avoid this place.

Yikes. The pictures for this hotel are completely inaccurate. Came to Calgary for a night for my little girl's birthday with her girlfriend and her mom... We felt completely unsafe.... The lock was busted off the door... There was blood on the bathroom walls.. there was hair in the tub... The list goes on. The only good thing I can say about this is that the manager came out as we were loading our stuff back into the car to apologize And to say that he was going to be talking to his housekeeping staff... However, nothing the housekeeping staff could do to save that place for sure. Needs major upgrades, maintenance, updated pictures to avoid disappointment for guests etc etc. this hotel is meant for those who are desperate and not afraid of disease or biohazards. I do hope that Expedia takes this off of their listings because it's very deceiving + interrupted our timing of plans and budget.

saw some bad reviews, thought maybe it just was a bit run down, gave it a chance. run down is an understatement, the rooms stink, the air conditioners don’t work, doors don’t work, the blinds don’t even cover the windows. they overcharge for every single tiny thing and just want to keep your money. cost an arm and a leg just for 2 rooms that were damaged and the faucet in the bathroom didn’t even work. went to make coffee, the coffee maker looked slimy in the water compartment and hadn’t looked like it had been cleaned in months. beds hard and uncomfortable, pillows very old not supportive, asked for an extra pillow, completely out. customer service was terrible anything we asked for seemed like an inconvenience and annoyance. there is not one positive thing to say about this place. if you’re looking to waste a bunch of money on a place that you don’t feel safe, don’t feel clean, and can’t even use the faucet, stay here.

DO NOT STAY HERE. The check-in experience was an absolute nightmare from the second we walked in. The front desk staff was beyond rude and completely unwilling to help with anything. My credit card chip doesn’t work, but the card itself had more than enough money available for the deposit. Instead of manually entering it like most hotels would, he flat-out refused to even TRY to process it. Then they charged an extra $21 fee just to use cash for the deposit. Zero customer service and zero effort to help paying customers. We booked two rooms, and both were terrible. One room smelled absolutely disgusting, the air conditioner barely worked, and the wall rack looked like it was about to rip out of the wall at any moment. There weren’t even facecloths provided. The second room’s door barely locked properly and was incredibly finicky, which did not feel safe at all. To top it all off, they kept $100 out of our $300 deposit at checkout. They charged $50 because one of the beds had a tiny spot of blood on the sheet after a small accidental incident. It was clearly not intentional and obviously something that would wash out, but they didn’t care. This place is nothing but a money grab. In the end, we paid almost $400 for two cheap, rundown rooms that none of us were comfortable staying in. Horrible experience, horrible customer service, and absolutely not worth the money.

The first room I was put in had leak coming from the ceiling. After I was moved I heard shouting and glass breaking coming from the room next to me. After things calmed down and the police left there was a trail of blood in front of my door that didn't get cleaned until the next day. At no point did any staff check on me after this incident.

dont waste money and time and your MOOD pay 10/20$ more and stay somewhere else .

Not booking again yes cheapest but to clean and stain the towel and the bathroom. Aside that surprise charges extra $21 for Service fee? No breakfast and the pool totally glass are clear can see you from outside.
