The service was lovely, my server margey was absolutely so lovely. Atmosphere is quite pleasement. Waiting 80 mins for for 2 steaks and 2 apps is insane. Got a salad I didnt order and was charged for it. Steaks were both well done when asked for rare. I loved the service and was treated with a free dessert. Just not worth the price for boston pizza level food quality.

Update: No response from the restaurant. That seals the deal. Don't role the dice. For a guaranteed fantastic experience I recommend The Marc, Sabor or Tzin. I added a star because space and food were really great. Credit where credit is due. Food and cocktails are phenomenal. Service was terrible and ruined the night. She wasn't familiar with the absinthe list and didn't ask anyone when my boyfriend asked which one was the best. She brought us the wrong wine, rosé instead of Chablis, and then asked if I wanted to keep the rosé or if we wanted her to switch for the chablis. I sheepishly asked if we could please have the chablis. We waited 50 minutes for our second course. Our server kept apologizing because she forgot to put in our order, which is fine. Human error. I used to work in the restaurant industry, it happens. She told us she forgot to put the order in and when she put it in it was behind a big order. The kitchen should have been notified to bump up our order but they weren't. We asked for some bread while we waited and ended up being charged for it. She tried to compensate for all the errors with a drink and a plate of jellies and coin cookies which we later realized was what everyone gets with their bill. And we didn't want another drink. The food was fantastic but the bad/inexperienced service overshadowed the whole experience. We left feeling awful that we had spent $200 and didn't have a great night ($200 is a big occassion night for us). For comparison, when we were at The Marc and there was a mix-up, we got our entire bill paid for plus a $100 gift card. Good service makes up for everything. We will be going back to The Marc. Not Le Petit Iza.

The food was incredible and the service was lovely. We sat on the patio for our dinner and it is such a unique and beautiful location. I highly recommend it for any occasion.

I celebrated my 40th birthday at La Petite Iza this past weekend, and it was everything I had hoped it would be. There is something truly magical about this beautiful French restaurant. Its warmth, charm, and incredible cuisine come together to create an experience that feels both elegant and deeply soulful. It's the kind of place that invites you to slow down, linger over conversation, and savour every moment. The service was exceptional, and the attention to detail was remarkable. Every interaction felt genuine and thoughtful, making the evening feel even more special. Thank you for being such a memorable part of my 40th birthday. It was a celebration I'll always treasure, and I look forward to returning again and again.
