The stay itself was good, and the room was clean and comfortable. However, my experience with the front desk attendant was disappointing. Everything seemed fine until he noticed my name and saw me wearing traditional attire on Eid. After that, his attitude appeared to change noticeably. He did not greet us when we entered or left the hotel and seemed uninterested in assisting us. When I asked a question about the safety deposit , he gave me an unpleasant look and provided a dismissive, unhelpful response. Additionally, when we returned the room keys, he remained seated in his chair and made us lean over the desk to hand them to him, which felt unprofessional and discourteous. While the accommodation itself met expectations, the customer service fell far below what I would expect from a hospitality establishment. The overall experience could have been much better with even a basic level of courtesy and attentiveness. Unfortunately, due to this experience, I would not choose to stay here again.
Friendly service, thank you for everything
The reason I came to Edmonton is because of this hotel. It's the only hotel that's so nice and welcoming.
I like and love this hotel Very friendly hotel, beautiful everything is very good.
We came here on vacation from Toronto last night. This morning, a serious problem started because of a cleaning staff member. We had to call the police. The cleaner was of Turkish origin, and after hearing that we are Kurdish, she behaved in a racist manner and even threw her gloves at our faces. In all our time in Canada, we have never seen such a disgusting hotel. Despite paying for our stay, we were subjected to racism. The staff at this hotel seem completely out of control. Canada is a country known for freedom and human rights, but this woman has forgotten what humanity and respect mean. To anyone considering visiting this place: do not come here. At any moment, you could be subjected to false accusations, harassment, or other unacceptable behavior. Answer If we were undocumented immigrants, how would we be able to check into your hotel using our own legal identification? Every one of us has a valid PR card, and we can provide proof in person or send copies by email if necessary. There was no need to make such false accusations in an attempt to defend yourselves. A simple apology for what happened would have been enough. Instead, you chose to make unfounded claims about us. We expected professionalism and respect from your staff. Rather than taking responsibility for the situation, you have only made it worse. This experience has left us extremely disappointed, and it has reinforced our negative impression of your hotel.
One of the female employees there was raising her voice at customers. This morning, she approached us aggressively and used offensive language toward us. I had brought five friends with me, and we had rented three rooms. Because of this situation, we canceled all three rooms and checked out. You need to warn your staff and ensure they treat customers respectfully. Answer: You’re being ridiculous. If necessary, I can show my residency card or send it by email. No one here is undocumented or residing illegally. If there are any illegal immigrants involved, they are the people you are employing.
