Fort Nashwaak Motel

I stayed at this hotel for four nights and overall had a pleasant experience, especially thanks to its great location. It’s conveniently situated near the river, which made for lovely walks, and there are excellent options within walking distance, including a brewery and a café. There is also a pub on-site, which I really enjoyed. The property itself is a bit older, but it is well maintained and has its own charm. When I arrived, my room was clean and comfortable, which I appreciated. However, I was quite disappointed that there was no housekeeping service during the rest of my stay. I believe daily room cleaning is a basic expectation, and this lack of service impacted my overall experience. While I truly liked many aspects of this hotel, unfortunately, due to this issue, I would not choose to stay here again.

Charming and cozy motel! For a motel stay, it offers exactly what you would expect and hope for. The woman at check-in was very friendly, the rooms were spotless, and both the bathroom and beds were clean and comfortable. Parking right in front of the room was very convenient, and both check-in and check-out were quick and hassle-free. The location is also lovely, situated close to the water. The only downside was the lack of a coffee machine or at least a kettle in the room, which I would consider part of standard motel amenities. Overall, definitely recommended for a motel stay!

We stayed on the 27 of March it was comfortable but we had to go to the main office to get a plunger because the toilet was plugged, we had to plunge everytime we used it. We didn't go away to plunge a toilet during our stay

Dated rink, but does have a warm windowed area though.

Great service from Liza at the front desk — really kind and helpful. The motel itself is nice and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Worker was rude and unhelpful

Spacious, clean, comfortable, quiet room. Super friendly, kind, helpful staff. The location, near scenic walking trails leading down town make this a hidden gem. Remarkable Wi-Fi coverage.
