We were greeted by the host, Monica, as we arrived. She is a friendly, vibrant person. Monica answered any queries we had and provided us a list of places to visit and restaurants to eat at. And John cooked a delicious breakfast for us each morning. We would recommend the Red House to anyone visiting Fredericton.

Lovely quaint B&B only two blocks from central downtown. Just finished a two-day stay in the studio room with a kitchenette (breakfast excluded) and it was an excellent choice to prioritize working around downtown Fredericton.

Our stay here was wonderful from start to finish!! We were warmly greeted by Monica and shown to our room which was very clean and nice amenities. She recommended a spot for dinner which was great. Room service breakfast was excellent. Then off to the farmers market 3 blocks away before checking out. We will for sure be back.

We were in town with friends to celebrate a graduation. Monica and John made us feel so cared for and at home. We loved being in their home. We enjoyed hearty breakfasts. We walked to the downtown area to explore the riverfront trail, the restaurants and shops. We loved the rooms and slept very well in their cozy bedrooms. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!! The cherry on top was spending time with John & Monica.

The Red House is exceptional, and I don’t use the word lightly. From the exquisite decor, which blends priceless antique furniture, art and memorabilia with modern amenities, to the beautifully appointed rooms and the gourmet breakfast, this place is a gem.Add to this the most gracious and welcoming hosts, and you never want to leave. It’s worth travelling to Fredericton just to experience this.

Great location, well appointed and operated by wonderful people. I can’t recommend this place enough. Will go again on our next trip in the east coast.

Lovely house with perfect hosts and delicious breakfast. We stayed in the second-floor Sunporch Loft with deck. Very comfortable, with separate sitting area. Everything was spotlessly clean. Very well furnished. Ten-minute walk or short bike ride through lovely side streets to downtown.
