Somewhat conveniently located and polite staff, but that’s about it. Our room gave off ‘long term care’ vibes and the bathroom was clearly not cleaned well. The shower was either freezing cold or scalding hot and we could not adjust it to a consistent temperature. The toilet float needed to be jiggled to stop the water from running after each flush. The included continental breakfast offered a bare minimum. Parking is an additional $15 per night and there are only 7 parking spaces in their back lot. The building is old so noise from other floors is apparent…constantly. Our 2 night stay in early June was disappointing and we’ll not be returning.

The next time I visit Halifax I will be staying here again! It's right downtown and about a 15 minute walk to the waterfront. The room I stayed in was lovely - I adored the Victorian style.

Quaint Inn in the heart of Halifax. Walking distance to harbour and most attractions. Staff very friendly and able to accommodate my wife’s gluten allergy with their continental breakfast.
