Visitors frequently praise the Moxy Halifax Downtown for its unique, modern design, friendly staff, and central location. I absolutely loved this hotel! It has such a nice vibe! Rooms are minimalist but super cool and the staff are friendly, professional and simply amazing! They even have a DJ in the lobby/bar area on Saturday nights! And Tricky one of the bartenders provided absolutely outstanding customer service! All the food I ate from their restaurant was also delicious. A special shout out to Heather who went above and beyond to find my lost AirPods and to Lavern for ensuring that they were available for courier pickup. But honestly, ALL the staff are outstanding! Would definitely stay here again! Wish they had more locations in Canada!

Fun vibe and energy, cute basic rooms - but utterly uncomfortable. The beds are hard like a rock, the pillows are super thin and mechanical noises going on and off non stop all night.
