Manteo Resort Waterfront Hotel & Villas

so far so good. we are in day two of our 4-days day. some disappointment at the bars are only open until 10:00 or 11:00 p.m as part of their restaurant service. despite spending thousands of dollars for five rooms for our golf trip, it was quite difficult to get a reservation for the main restaurant at the manteo. which seems to make no sense. our group of 12 is easily going to spend a few thousand dollars on food and wine for a dinner. and we had to go to management to get them to fit us in. weird. will be interesting to see how the dinner is tomorrow night.

It’s 11:32pm as I write this, in the background the DJ sings to YMCA. My 400cad /night room is not sound proof to the club/lounge downstairs. My room sounds like the inside of a club bathroom. My feet can feel the bass of 2010 pop hits. I can smell just a hint of the weed. It’s been like this since 7pm. Let’s just say if you have kids like me don’t booked here, or at least ask for a room far from the lounge.

We visited Kelowna for the first time and are so glad we chose to stay at the Manteo. Riley and Aman along the front desk team were absolutely amazing—their professionalism and customer service were truly top notch. The property is beautiful, the gym is well-equipped, and the restaurants are excellent. A big thank you to everyone who made our stay so enjoyable. We had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend it!

I really enjoyed myself at Manteo. I was treated like a 5 star guest. I was here over the weekend for a conference and the food was amazing the staff went above and beyond. It was great to be able to have a fire on the beach. All I had to do was ask about a fire and they brought out a cart of wood and started up a fire. The beds were comfy, the views were beautiful. Overall a great place and if I ever were to organize a large function in Kelowna I would definitely choose this location!

Was really looking forward to enjoying my stay here. The location is good… on the quieter side of the lake and away from the busy downtown area of Kelowna. The rooms are clean and renovated but whatever you do, don’t stay on the second floor. It’s extremely loud and unpleasant. You spend $500/night for a lakeview room only to have the event area just below you. The walls shake until midnight and there’s zero ability to enjoy the views from your room. The staff was made aware of this and said they understand the situation and feel sorry for us, but said their manager will assist in resolving the matter. Their manager has been nowhere to be found. So much for a relaxing weekend stay. I get that it’s event season and love to see people enjoying their time, but why would they not put people part of the wedding party to stay in this known noisy area? Why not put others on different floors? Seems like a terribly run place. I wouldn’t recommend anyone stay here. Sorry to say. UPDATE: The staff was very accomodating and reached out to me directly to come stay again. I was not expecting this - and will say that the care and follow up after this much time afterwards is pretty awesome. Hopefully my next stay is much better, but the effort to do that is greatly appreciated and for that, I have updated my review. I will also so, they never once mentioned for me to do anything like this. Nice touch from their management.

Great location, really convenient to the lake and downtown

Timeless charm

I recently stayed here for a visit with my daughter while she moved. This hotel offered a fantastic place to rest ourselves. Highly recommend and I will be back for future stays!
