Good experience (although the French/English languages mentioned are mostly for emergencies), a respectful establishment with a kitchen and parking available. Several shared book libraries. It's best to stay in a quieter area as the soundproofing isn't optimal, but the intention is there. Glasses, cups, coffee, and a corkscrew are provided in the room :)

We wanted to be close to old Quebec. This location was a nice walk to old Quebec and the immediate area was really close to lots of nice restaurants and coffee shops. As for the hotel, for us parking was as issue with our truck. We couldn’t find convenient parking at the hotel or on nearby streets. Some parking lots couldn’t accommodate either. We had a 10 minute walk to an outdoor lot. Then the room size didn’t work for us. It was too small to open our luggage. The owner said they have bigger rooms, but we didn’t see that when booking. There was a communal room with a fridge, and kettle and microwave.

Although our room was a bit cramped and not soundproof (we could hear the other guests' children shouting and slamming doors), it was spotlessly clean and smelled lovely. The hostel had a lounge area and kitchenettes available for our use. It's a very nice place, and the owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. She gave us a tour and answered all my questions with a smile. Plus, everything was close to the hostel: restaurants a 10-minute walk away, museums and shopping centers a 15-minute drive, etc. In short, apart from the unruly children, my girlfriend and I had a great time!
