Hôtel Marie-Rollet

A first for us. We really loved this warm and charming hotel. The furniture, the decor, it truly has a lovely character. Very good service at reception. Our room was very clean. One small drawback: the pillows are really, really thin; you need three to make one! Apart from that detail, we loved our experience in this magnificent 1800s building and will definitely stay again!

Beautiful, clean hotel in a great location. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the most relaxing stay. There was a very loud noise in our room during the night (almost like a car starting next to you), which we suspect was the water pump. It kept turning on and off and woke us up multiple times. The next morning, we were woken up by a maintenance worker going up and down the stairs while singing. Someone also knocked on our door while we were asleep, which woke us up again. I really wanted to like this place, but because of the repeated disturbances, we’ll most likely not return. Unfortunately.

Not insulated at all, very uncomfortable bed... no fridge, tiny bathroom... and so on... the stars are for the location and the staff. Very disappointed!

A charming hotel, conveniently located near everything. Walking distance to St. Jean Street, Palais Montcalm, etc. The rooms are tastefully decorated and feature stained-glass windows. Perhaps not as soundproofed as a modern hotel, but it wasn't really a problem. There are five fairly steep steps to enter. An indoor parking garage is a 3-minute walk away. $25/day

Smells of mold and pillows as thin as sheets of paper!

Quiet hotel but old decor, old-fashioned room, I stayed there once, there are better options nearby.

Excellent location. We stayed on the main floor in a room with a king size bed. Beautiful quaint historic building with nice furnishings and artwork. Bed was very comfortable. Modern luxury bathroom. Shower was a delight. Staff was polite and helpful.

Nice hotel, small single room with a bathroom in the hallway, but really neat! Great location, a 5-minute walk to Chateau Frontenac. 15-minute walk to the train station.
