Queen City Pride Regina
About This Event
Queen City Pride, Regina's annual Pride festival, is a ten-day affair in June that culminates in a parade. It's put on by Regina Pride Inc., a volunteer-run non-profit.
You'll find workshops, drag shows, and live performances in the days leading up to the parade. Last year's line-up included Melinda Verga, an alum of Canada's Drag Race. The parade itself is a big draw for community groups, unions, schools, and University of Regina staff and students. In 2024, Global News counted 129 entries - the most the parade had ever seen.
The 2026 parade took a new route. Safety concerns meant it no longer crossed the Albert Street Bridge. Instead, it started at the Conexus Arts Centre, made its way along 23rd Avenue, and up Albert Street, passing the Legislative Building. From there, it headed back into Wascana Park on Lakeshore Drive.
The 2026 festival ran from 5 to 13 June, with the parade kicking off at noon on Saturday, 13 June. As of now, the 2027 dates haven't been announced.
