Monastery Hotel

Booked a 2 bed room and was given a single bed room to share with Mum. They sorted the problem and gave us a room with 2 separate beds

Very disappointed in our stay. We came for our anniversary from Central. We had the room with the jacuzzi and the jacuzzi is located next to the bed which if you turned the jets on water would get over the bed. Only one setting worked with the jets in the jacuzzi. There were stains of grease on the wall. It was a hand print left on the wall of grease. The fireplace has spots of dirt all over it. Overall stay wasn’t great. I don’t recommend

Stayed here for 10 days. It was a short 15 minute walk to the curling venue at Mary Brown's Center. We had a King Suite which was very comfortable and well equipped. Check in and out was very easy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would not hesitate to stay at this location again.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel. The rooms are nicely done. We stayed in the superior king suite. There was a fireplace and a jetted tub. The bed was very comfortable. We had breakfast in the Monastery Bistro and it was delicious. The hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Went there. 2 of 3 lights in bathroom didn't work. Ask for new bulbs. Weren't brought. Had to called back again for them couple hours later. Than Went to use jacuzzi and didn't work. Break was off had to call down again and wait for 2nd issue than after midnight heater/ac stopped working didn't call where had electric fireplace and was tired of have to call on issues. When checking out mentioned all issues. The girl told us she send free night for problems. Never received free night. For the price just not what expect. Room was really nice except issues. From my only experience staying there it hard to recommend any to go there especially at the cost.

I have no idea how this hotel is rated 5 stars . The TV didn’t work, the room was incredibly dated and depressing, there wasn’t even a fridge to put leftovers in… the staff were great and bistro breakfast was good but that’s the only plus. Please save your money and go elsewhere! A motel would’ve been better.

Amazing! Absolutely perfect.

The room was perfect. The bed was very comfortable. The jacuzzi was just right. Unfortunately, I was told upon check in that a breakfast was included. When we arrived in your bistro we were asked about vouchers. I was never told or offered a voucher so we were told that our breakfast wasn't included. If I was informed properly upon check in I would have purchased any vouchers needed. As such I was to unhappy to pay for any breakfast. Besides this, the stay was wonderful.
