About this place The Drink - Cocktail & Pizza Bar

Located on the second floor of a building on Church Street in Toronto, this cocktail and pizza bar welcomes LGBTQ+ guests in one of Canada's most established gay neighborhoods. Church Street has long been a hub for Toronto's queer community, offering visitors a mix of bars, restaurants, and social spaces where you can connect with locals and fellow travelers alike. As a cocktail bar, you can expect a focus on mixed drinks in a casual setting. The addition of pizza to the menu means you can grab a bite while enjoying drinks, making it a flexible spot whether you're stopping by for an evening out or settling in for a longer visit. The second-floor location offers a more intimate atmosphere away from street-level hustle. This type of venue is typical of Toronto's gay bar scene—unpretentious spaces where LGBTQ+ folks and allies gather to socialize and unwind. Whether you're visiting Toronto for the first time or returning to explore the city's queer culture, Church Street venues provide a welcoming environment to meet people and experience the neighborhood's friendly atmosphere. Visit their web presence for current details on hours and any special offerings.

I went in for a drink and to see a drag performance. Unfortunately I was harassed by what I assume was a very drunk man who forced me to leave. He was aggressive and was yelling at me to leave because he thought he knew me. Never seen that man in my life. He then followed me out side the bar and demanded I leave or he would call the police. He is the partner of the performer that evening. I asked if I did something to offend her or if I said something wrong, he didn’t answer and forced me out. Management did speak with him but he was allowed to stay I guess. As a solo, first time visitor, I really hope management reconsiders allowing him into their club in the future.

Door man said my friend - who doesn’t drink - had too many drinks to enter. I’m never even going to try to go here again.
