Our history is to real to paint. When i was young (1989) i had abdominal surgery by a men who had Aids. He jumped off a building with his friend. But one of the last thing he did was safe my life. His grave is probably gone now, and he is not on this list. But i still wear his scar as a memorial.
AIDS Memorial in Barbara Hall Park, while a solemn tribute, occasionally faces challenges related to the presence of drug-addicted individuals in the vicinity. This issue, while not directly related to the memorial itself, can occasionally affect the atmosphere and sense of tranquillity for visitors. It's important to be aware of your surroundings and exercise caution when visiting. Despite this concern, the memorial's significance and the opportunity to pay respects to those affected by AIDS remain unchanged. The memorial continues to provide a space for reflection and remembrance, serving as a testament to the ongoing struggle against the epidemic and the need for compassion and support.
Great Memorial, a must see when in Toronto
My brothers name is on this. 1995....seems so so long ago now. I remember.
A nice tribute though poorly maintained by the city. Lots of garbage that doesn’t get cleaned up.
