Holiday Inn

I had a very disappointing experience during my 3-night stay at this hotel with my family. From the beginning, the air conditioning in our room did not work properly. It would automatically slow down and stop cooling effectively, making the room uncomfortable, especially during the night. The most concerning issue was finding a cockroach in our room. When I immediately reported it to the front desk, the staff apologized and moved us to another room. While I appreciated the room change, I was surprised that the response was limited to a simple "sorry" given the seriousness of the situation. As a family traveling with children, finding a cockroach in a hotel room raised serious concerns about cleanliness and hygiene. After the room change, I continued to express my concerns and had to complain more than once before the hotel finally acknowledged the impact of the incident and refunded the cost of one night's stay. Although the room was changed and a one-night refund was eventually provided, it did not make up for the discomfort, inconvenience, and concerns for my family's well-being during our stay. For a hotel that should prioritize guest comfort and cleanliness, this experience fell far below expectations. Based on my experience, I would not recommend staying here and will not be returning in the future.

The hotel was in an excellent location, just a 3-minute walk from the subway. The reception staff were extremely friendly and always helpful with everything. Both the room and bathroom were very clean, and the housekeeping team did a great job with a warm attitude as well. I was very satisfied with my stay and would definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip to Toronto, and I would happily recommend it to others

Unhelpful reservation staff. Unpleasant encounter! I phoned to verify if we can drop off luggage and car prior to check in. The lady didn’t answer my questions instead she asked questions back and interrogate how much I am paying, the rates online I saw, how many nights we are staying, number of guests, ages of guests etc. I clearly stated at first we are planning to book for 1 night. I can’t find online the answers to my questions. When I redirect our conversation back to my question, she sounds pissed off and not sure about her replies. I decided not to book with their hotel. If this is the way how they handle basic query how much more of complex cases? So nope! Thank you!

10/10 service at this hotel. One of the housekeepers, Dilruba, was very lovely, and would give my group a warm smile and friendly conversation during the entirety of our stay. I do recommend!

We booked last minute after our accommodations fell through . Our room was clean and quiet. The hotel staff friendly and helpful. Location was convenient

Nothing like advertised; awful rooms. Tiny, stuffy, grubby and just depressing as hell to be in. Don’t bother booking this hotel, find somewhere else! Will be finding somewhere else to stay 👎👎👎

There is something super positive, and that is the nice location of this hotel in Toronto. But... otherwise, it feels like they can't handle the size. There is an expert with at least 5 options per month for checking in and out, and there is always a line. And I think that is due to the complexity of the check-in process. Additionally, it felt a bit like a lack of interest to us during check-in. We are traveling and we treat people kindly. We hope to receive the same in return. Unfortunately, that is not the case. It feels rushed and as if every question is too much trouble. On the other hand, the housekeeping is extremely helpful and friendly. Super clean. But price-quality... I have seen and experienced better.
