My stay at The Oswego Hotel was far too short. The room was beautifully appointed, comfortable, and had everything I needed. I especially loved having a balcony where I could enjoy the morning sunshine and fresh air. A wonderful place to stay in Victoria, and one I would return to in a heartbeat.

This was a great hotel overall — very clean, spacious rooms, and lots of amenities. The location and overall experience made for an enjoyable stay. One thing to be aware of is that the rooms do not have air conditioning. During the warmer weather, this was a bit of a struggle, and the ceiling fans in the room didn’t make much of a difference. Prior to our stay, I had also reached out to see if the staff could help arrange a few birthday touches in the room. Unfortunately, that request appears to have been overlooked. However, when I mentioned it at checkout, the staff were very apologetic and handled the situation professionally. As a gesture of goodwill, they kindly comped our parking for the weekend, which was appreciated. Despite those issues, we had a pleasant stay. We would return here but probably during cooler months!

This hotel was nice and we enjoyed our stay. The rooms are average but no concerns. The difference is the staff. The service was outstanding from the front desk to the restaurant, everyone was very approachable! We loved the outdoor lounge space with the fire and blankets!

We have been to Victoria a few times as a family and have stayed at a different place each time. We like the Oswego the best for our family of 4. We for a King suite and it was just perfect. The kitchen is nice, perfect for a short or long stay, the bathroom was great and the hotel itself had so many pleasant surprises. They have a wonderful restaurant (We went on the burger night, and for happy hour, so good!), a quaint but good workout room, reading rooms, laundry room, and even extra bathrooms on each floor. Oh, I almost forgot, all their products are clean, the soap, shampoo, even the toilet paper is bamboo (What we use at home). If that matters to you, it is a huge plus. We didn’t have a great view from our room, but that isn’t that important to us, we are out all day looking at gorgeous views. The location is great for walking, driving, and getting in and out of Victoria. I love how convenient it was to go into the garage with our vehicle and then just go straight up to our floor. With kids, this was so awesome. The best thing about the Oswego was the staff. They were super nice, kind and accommodating. We wanted to use the outdoor fire pit in the garden to roast marshmallows, but the young lady who worked there tried to get it going, but it wouldn’t work, but she tried a few other solutions, but to no avail, but her kindness and effort throughout was commendable. If we can get a good rate the next time, this will be our go to hotel in Victoria for sure.

Lovely hotel, very centrally located yet very quiet. The room was very large with plenty of space and a kitchen. It's easy to explore the city on foot. Parking is also available on site. However, the breakfast (provided by an external supplier!) is not worth recommending in terms of service, quality, or selection of food, let alone value for money. We were very disappointed. It would be better to walk to another restaurant in town!

Stayed here 3 nights start of June - good rooms - we had a one bedroom suite on 7th floor - clean and spacious - maybe a little worn in places - but had kitchen and seating area - view over Victoria - and was perfect - we didn’t really use the hotel’s services - the staff were friendly and just let you get on with your business - but the bar and restaurant looked good and had a good atmosphere and wish we’d gone to the Sunday steak night - but there was too much else to do in Victoria - location great - short stroll into town or fisherman’s wharf - if we come back would definitely stay here again
