Beautiful location and lovely rooms. The breakfast was the best we have ever had.
Communication was good only before booking. Afterwards, there was no response to any questions. The breakfast was beautifully presented, but so meager that it was impossible to feel even remotely satisfied. Fruit with yogurt as a first course, followed by two slices of toast with scrambled eggs and bacon. It wasn't a buffet, but rather served as individual portions.
After a very long day of travelling, we were so glad to get to our large comfortable Rose Room at Abbeymoore. So peaceful and quiet with a comfy bed and pillows. And the breakfast was really good. We would definitely stay again.
Amazing experience!
There was nobody there to greet guests. You get a code to let yourself in. The place has an odor like it lacks good ventilation. The odor sticks to your clothes. Place is rundown and unkept. If it had good days it must have been like a century ago. I booked 2 nights and stayed only one night because it was too late to look for other accommodations. We lost money but could not stay another night. My wife and I felt unsafe with zero staff presence. Basically I rented a room in an old house that didn't have a TV. This is not a b&b in the traditional sense. The coffee cups for breakfast were all dirty and we pointed it out to the one lady that was there for breakfast she just re shuffled them. We couldn't leave fast enough after one night. I did not ask for a refund because I expect no return calls or responses. Basically I feel defrauded.
Wonderful stay in historic manor. Comfortable and spacious rooms and a delicious breakfast in the morning! We enjoyed the host, Jeff’s hospitality and charming conversation! Would highly recommend!
