The rooftop of this hotel offers a breathtaking view of the colonial city. It's a place where you can enjoy a wonderful time, whether with friends (as I did), your partner, a work group, or even on your own—why not? The colonial city exudes a magic that's hard to explain; you simply feel it and embrace it the moment you're there, and the Hotel Billini is located in a corner where you can truly appreciate that magic. The menu prices are geared towards a more upscale and mid-range clientele, although they do offer a reasonably priced day pass.

I booked the Wellness package through the website, which clearly stated that it included lunch, massage, access to the pool, salon, and other amenities. However, the only question on the booking form was what type of massage I wanted, so I selected a couples relaxation massage. In the end, I paid $166 USD basically just for the massage. I was told I had to pay separately for the food, and according to the receptionist, access to the pool was being given to us “as a courtesy.” We also did not have access to the salon because it was supposedly “not included in the package.” This was extremely disappointing and misleading. I strongly recommend better and clearer information, and fewer “that’s not possible” responses, because I specifically chose the Wellness package, and the form only asked which massage I wanted, not what services I wanted excluded. I honestly felt scammed. No 30-minute massage is worth $83 USD per person (which is more than 5,000 Dominican pesos). Since we were a couple, the total was $166 USD, and on top of that, I had to pay for the food separately—even though it clearly said it was included. I went there expecting to have a good experience, but it turned out to be the worst experience. It was my partner’s birthday, and I wanted to surprise them with something special, but instead I left feeling disappointed and embarrassed.

We ordered a service online, and upon arrival there were communication problems between employees regarding the paid service, all due to an error in their system.

No Wi-Fi in the room. Two light bulbs burned out. No one at the lobby. Breakfast was inconsistent. The hotel is run by amateurs. The location is good, but it's nothing more than a mediocre 3-star hotel.

I don't know what's going on at that place. I've gone twice to sit and chat in the outside area and ordered wine, and the amount they give is barely enough to fill the glass.

Excellent service, we celebrated our wedding there and the service was top-notch.
