The facilities were very nice—clean, well maintained, and overall a good place to relax and have fun. However, there are consistent issues that continue to be mentioned in other reviews and still do not seem to be addressed. The main concern is the bar pricing and billing. I was overcharged for drinks, and when I brought it up, the response was simply an “oh I’m sorry, it should have only been one,” which did not feel like a proper resolution given the repeated nature of this issue. Front desk staff were also noticeably cold and unfriendly, which made the check-in experience less welcoming than expected. Overall, the venue itself has strong potential and good facilities, but ongoing issues with overcharging and poor customer service significantly detract from the experience. It’s a place you can enjoy, but you need to pay close attention to your bill and manage expectations around service.
The best place for the community in Mexico City! Three floors of pure adventure with saunas, steam room, jacuzzi, mazes, showers, and a bar. On the fourth floor, they have a hotel with very comfortable rooms with private balconies. Plus, on weekends, they sell delicious breakfasts at the bar on the fourth floor. The staff is generally very discreet and friendly, and the people who go there tend to be very respectful, making Sodome a unique experience!
I actually didn’t encounter many of the problems mentioned in previous reviews: the staff was nice, they didn't overcharge me, and the venue looked clean. However, I noticed that most of the positive social interactions seemed to happen among Spanish speakers; if you don't speak the language, it's going to be pretty hard to vibe with anyone. The crowd wasn't the most in shape either, so I probably wouldn't visit again, or would only give it another try on a Saturday night.
I've been there several times when visiting Mexico City, and it's a great place. I'm visiting again and wanted to know what it's like there today, Monday?
