Marcha del Orgullo LGBT+ de Ensenada

Ensenada's Marcha del Orgullo LGBT+ is the city's annual Pride march, held on a Saturday in June as the centrepiece of a month-long "Mes del Orgullo." First held around 2008, it has grown into a genuine event drawing roughly 8,000 people. Organised by Comunidad Diversa de Ensenada (CODE), the march sets off from the downtown core — around Calle Ruiz / Plaza Pueblo Antiguo — and moves through Sexta, Quinta, Primera and Reforma toward the city's civic plaza. It combines a political rights message with a street celebration of contingents, floats and drag performances, and is distinct from the larger Tijuana and Mexicali Prides to the north.
