Orgullo Panamericano Guadalajara
About This Event
Orgullo Panamericano (Pan American Pride) is real, and it is separate from Guadalajara's regular June marches. It is billed as the first continental Pride of the Americas: a ten-day event in Guadalajara, planned to move to a different city in the Americas every two years. The official site names OLA (Orgullo Latinoamérica) as the driving organisation, with Guadalajara Pride, InterPride and the Federation of Gay Games among the collaborators, and the state of Jalisco plus the cities of Guadalajara, Zapopan and Puerto Vallarta listed as institutional allies.
The published plan has several layers: a four-day Diversity Forum at Ciudad Creativa Digital (tech and business, human rights, culture and history, health), an eight-day Pride Village on Andador Chapultepec, sport in seven disciplines including indoor volleyball, seven-a-side football, tennis, swimming and a 5K run, plus an LGBTIQ+ book fair, film, cabaret, opening and closing galas and a closing concert. Two marches are listed: the Pan American Pride March on 12 June and the city's own Guadalajara Pride march on 19 June.
Organisers have announced 10 to 19 June 2027. Routes, most venues and any ticketing hadn't been published when we checked, and the crowd figures on the site are the organisers' own. There is no previous edition to judge it by: 2027 is the first.
