In Puerto Vallarta’s Zona Romantica, this gay bar and club gives you options for a night out, with different spaces for whatever mood you’re in.
The place is open every night. You can move between two main vibes: a full-on dance club and a calmer martini lounge. The club has a big dance floor on several levels, plenty of places to sit, and a large bar. It’s where the energy is.
If you need a break from the music or want to start your evening somewhere quieter, the martini lounge is a good spot. It’s set apart, at the front of the building, and feels more low-key, built for drinks and conversation. Good for meeting up with friends before you dive into the main room, or just for chilling out.
Puerto Vallarta has been a draw for LGBTQ+ travelers for ages, and Zona Romantica is where the gay scene really happens. This spot, with its high-energy club and its relaxed lounge, means you can make your night what you want it to be. Find it at Lazaro Cardenas #254, right on the corner of Ignacio L. Vallarta.

Went on night of 06/06. The bartenders overcharge you for the drinks and add gratuity without asking you, it happened in the back bar and the front, I guess that’s one way to secure they get tipped. A bit absurd. For a vodka redbull and bottle of water they charged me $18.85 USD/330 pesos….ridiculous. Ask for the price before you show them how you’re paying that way the shady bartenders here can’t screw you. Now I have to dispute the charges with my credit card company, ugh annoying. They should post drink menus. Sad since I really like going for the reggaeton music they play in the front bar section.
Only good thing about this place is the dancer named Henry - he is an absolute gem of a human. Other folx here not as much. Got lots of nasty looks when we walked in and were dancing, one person said it was because of our skin color. Also, they try to scam you with the cover charge, they told me 150 pesos at first but when they discovered i speak spanish the price was suddenly 50 instead. They will overcharge on your credit card, and are disrespectful and rude to anyone not from MX.
