Fusion Gourmet: A reliably good rooftop restaurant in Puerto Vallarta's gayborhood.
You'll find Fusion Gourmet at 192 Amapas, right in the thick of Puerto Vallarta's lively LGBTQ+ scene. It’s a rooftop spot, which means you get that crucial ocean breeze and a decent view while you eat.
Puerto Vallarta has been a draw for LGBTQ+ travelers for decades, and its restaurant scene reflects that. Casual spots, fancier places — the city has them, and most are openly, proudly welcoming. Rooftops are big here for a reason: the weather’s usually perfect for outdoor dining, and who doesn't like looking out over the town?
Expect a menu that leans "gourmet" without being stuffy. It’s the kind of place you go when you want something a bit nicer than tacos, but not so formal you feel out of place in shorts. They do a solid job.
For what's on the menu tonight, or if they’ve got any specials, your best bet is their Facebook page: facebook.com/Fusion.PVR. It’s a good choice for a relaxed dinner out, whether you’re just visiting or you live in town.

On the phone they told me I could go and wait for a table to be assigned to me under availability. Wait 35 minutes for some cancellation and they never took place although they are almost empty.
The restaurant is situated in a fancy neighborhood in the south of Mexico City. My mother and I ate there and the total with tip came to about $90 usd. I felt that the restaurant is really expensive even by USA standards. The portions are small for entrees and desserts. One thing that I was disappointed with is the lack of drink menu. A customer should not have to wonder what price he will pay for a glass of wine or cocktail.
Before the food was just perfect, very dissapointing poor service, the food with very poor taste, some dishes cold At these times and such poor quality Whoever the chef is he doesnt have the least idea of taste and perfection
Asked for wine list and they said it wasnt updated really in a gourmet rest, asked for clam chowder came chilled not hot and could barely find clams, asked for manager no manager, asked for seared tuma they brought it over cooked, asked for rib eye tough and poor quality frozen Not as is was 3 years ago they lost me
Walked in for lunch on a busy Saturday. Greeted promptly, exceptionally attentive service (especially from Gilberto!) General Manager Domenico was also very attentive. Menu was special, not "ordinary", and food was very good. Fantastic values on quality wines. John M
Found this nice, small Gourmet Restaurant by accident. Ended up loving the quality of the food and wine selection. I recommend the pear salad with blue cheese and their beef! Great wine selection. Good and friendly service, the $ was reasonable since the quality of the food was great! Never thought I would enjoy it as much as I did since the reataurant is hidden in the middle of a small plaza and you can’t really see it.
This place have a fair cousine with a fine selection of wines however the waiters are disrespectful and rude. Spare a bad time and do not visit the place. However if you want to speak with the manager he is so busy to spend a couple of minutes with the costumers
We were here for a meal with friends and we had a great time. The place is packed on the weekends, so a reservation is highly recommended. It has a very nice menu, tasty dishes, mostly mexican. I ordered a roasted steak with vegetables that was amazing. The wine selection is amazing. Good prices. The Sommelier makes very good recommendations. Overall, a very nice place that is worth a visit.
Highly recomend BEEF filet with charcoal Sauce. Take it with a glass JR by Cruz cellars. Increíble Lounge Music, You would not find a better service.
