Villa Aikia

A very pleasant experience, the staff was exceptional. We only went to the restaurant and they gave us outstanding service. 100% recommended. They let us stay all day 🥹 Thank you so much.

The only redeeming value is the amazing ocean view. The hotel lost power several times for long periods. The first time it happened, I was told they were going to put the generator on in a half hour. They did not. Then they said the generator would be turned on after 930pm. It was not. The power to the hotel was restored by 10pm. Meanwhile, the rooms and hotel were dark making it dangerous to walk especially in the public areas were there are many steps. They did not have any emergency lighting or even candles. The air conditioner unit drained inside the room creating a flood and ruining my electronic equipment. The starling internet only worked less than 10% of the time. I was only offered an upgrade on my next visit. Why would I consider returning? I gave the staff an opportunity to provide some compensation, but a discount and upgrade on a future stay was their only offer.

We had a great time! Max, Kevin, Primi, and Pablo provided excellent service and attention, the food was delicious, and Pablo, the guy who cleans the room, was a 10 out of 10! We'll be back soon!

Villa Aikia completely exceeded my expectations. 🌴✨ Everything was spectacular: the beautiful facilities, the incredible service, the relaxing atmosphere, and the simply magical views. From the moment you arrive, you feel peace, a sense of disconnection, and a very special vibe. Every detail makes the experience feel unique and memorable. It's the perfect place to relax, enjoy yourself, and fall even more in love with Zipolite. It's definitely one of those hotels you want to return to as soon as you leave. I would definitely go back a thousand times over. 💛

I stayed at Villa Aikia with my partner in February and absolutely loved it. The view from our oceanfront room was stunning and loved our plunge pool and hammock. Shout out to Max for always accommodating and giving great recommendations. The staff is amazing, we came across a very scared dog who had fallen into a huge hole and they did not hesitate to help us free him.

What a beautiful hotel and views in Zipolite!! The staff is excellent and it shows in every detail. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, ideal for completely disconnecting. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, plus the beachfront location is a big plus. The beach has a beautiful hidden section that's worth exploring. I would definitely return :)

We had a wonderful stay here - very reasonably priced rooms, a beautiful view, and staff who were incredibly friendly and attentive. This was one of the best places we stayed during out trip to Mexico.

One of the best options in Zipolite, if not the best. The staff is friendly and attentive to your needs, the rooms are excellent—no TV or phone, ideal for relaxing and disconnecting from everything; very private and with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The food is delicious and the prices are comparable to any restaurant in Mexico City, with the added bonus of being right on the beach. Without a doubt, what I liked most was the beach. Although it's rocky, it has a small cove on the left side that's so fabulous it wouldn't do it justice. Among the rocks, I found a kind of "pond" with fish, crabs, and snails. If you visit, go to the beach, and I recommend bringing goggles. I'm already planning my next visit. Excellent, without a doubt.

The property is beautiful, the rooms are clean and spacious, the pool area is social and relaxing, the restaurant is delicious (I recommend the chilaquiles for breakfast!) The service is unbeatable, everyone is so friendly and willing to help. Because it is set up on the hill it feels quiet, peaceful, secluded, and yet it’s less than a 10-minute walk from the main beach! There is also another smaller, more private beach just below the hotel that was a hidden gem for us. A great value for the price and somewhere we will absolutely be returning to stay in the future.

The highlight of our one week visit is the chill poolside music that Braulio plays every day. Very chill, well-chosen and chill. Thanks Braulio!!!
