Convenient location in Pasadena with very nice decor throughout. Check-in at the counter was easy. We were advised to do self-park at the parking garage underneath the hotel instead of paying for parking through the hotel. Self parking was only $15, so about half what the hotel was going to charge us. Our room was on the second floor right behind the elevator but it was very quiet. The room was large and had two comfortable queen beds. Everything was clean and tidy.

Currently staying in this hotel. I got here last night and the woman at the front desk was super nice and helpful but it’s been downhill since then. No one else I have encountered has even been a little bit friendly. I went to the front desk to ask for towels and the girl acted like she didn’t even want to be bothered with me. She handed me the towels and couldn’t even look at me. I said thank you and silence..she went back to what she was doing. Just a cold experience.I got up early for breakfast and went to the front desk and there was another girl..not friendly at all. It’s been one day and we have 4 more to go.

This hotel was nothing short of amazing. I really enjoyed my stay here — the cleanliness, the staff, location, and proximity of LA were all perfect and I enjoyed this little neighborhood it was tucked in. The staff was friendly and nice as soon as I stepped in, everyone from reception to the laundry people. I will definitely be back and mark this as my go to hotel when coming to Los Angeles!

As someone who has stayed almost 1000 nights at Marriott over the last 7 years this might be the biggest disappointment. How this is an Autograph Collection is beyond me. That means luxury. The hallways look like 90s Florida Chic, but ensuring you could do it on the cheap. The air-con hardly works - because they were too cheap to change the AC when they remodeled they put a cage around the dirty old ones to make it not look bad, but it blocks all the air. The pillows are cheap and lumpy, the bed isn’t great. The staff was very helpful but of those 1000 nights this is the first I’ve posted a google review. That’s how disappointing this place is.

Great place in a great location. Very clean and well kept. Not our first or last stay.

The Hotel Dena is a reasonable business hotel, though their marketing lit oversells it a bit as a "boutique hotel." The reality is more "Sheraton with better wall art." The rooms are clean and pretty well maintained. The beds are comfortable. Bath towels and linens are good quality. Service is friendly and efficient. The location is a bit off of Old Town, next to the Convention Center and near Playhouse Square. The nearby Paseo mall was probably great in the 90s but is suffering the same slow decline as many shopping centers from that era. Shop for good room rates and you'll likely find the Dena a decent place to stay for a few days.
