My fiance and I, along with my parents came into town for a wedding and spent three nights. We had a lovely stay and we’re so glad we chose this spot! Not only is the location ideal for proximity to downtown restaurants, shops, and event venues, but the rooms were comfortable and beautifully decorated. Our host was attentive and friendly, shared information about the surrounding community, and served a delicious breakfast. If we come to visit again we will surely be returning to the Ann Arbor Bed and Breakfast!
It was a magical place to stay The room was very comfortable and Shannon was friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered far more than we could eat. Highly recommended.
I highly recommend the Ann Arbor Bed & Breakfast Inn. The location, literally right next to the U of M campus, is ideal if the university is on your agenda, the rooms are clean and pleasant, and parking on the property is a big plus. The common area, which includes the breakfast area, is delightfully decorated with all sorts of quirky knick-knacks and is a friendly place to spend time. Shannon, who runs the B&B, was always responsive and accommodating and did everything she could to make my stay convenient and enjoyable. Breakfast had a wide variety of tasty choices. If you want a place that’s less sterile and cookie-cutter than your standard hotel, give this B&B a try.
I stayed here for one night on a work trip, and I had a very pleasant stay. Shannon was welcoming and helpful throughout, the room/bed were comfortable, and the breakfast was tasty. It does feel like staying in someone’s home - including the quirky decorations! - but in a good way. I also realized after I left that I had dropped an earring, and Shannon graciously mailed it back to me. That would likely not happen at a big hotel! I recommend the AABB and would stay there again.
This stay was absolutely wonderful! It was my very first time visiting the U.S., and the host, Shannon, was incredibly kind and welcoming. The food she made was also fantastic—I especially loved the steamed egg with tomato, and she always provided plenty of fruit, coffee, and desserts. The location couldn't have been better. It’s right across from the University of Michigan Central Campus, so I was able to walk almost everywhere for sightseeing. If I ever find myself back in Ann Arbor, I would definitely love to stay here again. Thank you for helping me make such happy memories in the U.S. Wishing you health and happiness always! Warmly, Mr. Lee from South Korea
This is a very cozy and lovely B&B. The host Shannon was nice and friendly, will definitely stay here again when next time I visit Ann Arbor.
I booked at the Ann Arbor B & B while picking my daughter up from UMich. Shannon is an absolute delight. Her hospitality services are friendly and accomodating. The B&B feels like you are walking into a home in the very best way. Snacks are always available and she's willing to help out with special requests. And, the breakfast spread!!! Her baking and cooking are a fantastic way to start the day.
