they do not call you if you forgot anything in the room. i called one week/6 days after my stay to see if they had what i left behind and they said they do not call people to notify them if something is left behind, things go to the lost and found, my new shoes weren’t there. then i was forwarded to house keeping to leave a message because they are the ones that put things to the lost and found and never heard back. thinking house keeping kept my new heels and no i never found them tucked away in a bag or car or suitcase of mine. and to repeat, i asked staff if they notify people of things left behind and staff said they do not notify people and that housekeeping is responsible for left behind items. and my kind voicemail to housekeeping was never returned by anyone. so don’t forget anything behind :)

Great small hotel. Very quiet and right in the heart of Appleton.

Such a good experience! The gentleman (Matthew) that checked us in was super polite and nice! We were traveling with our children so we had kids with us and did the suite. Fireplace and jacuzzi tub were such a great touch. Accidentally I had booked for the wrong night and couldn’t refund so we made the trip down from the UP for a “staycation.” I am SO GLAD we weren’t able to cancel because I absolutely loved the experience!!! Definitely will be back without the kids one day.

I just recently stayed at the copperleaf this weekend while attending a concert in the area. The location was good but that’s about all that stood out. Our thermostat didn’t work and didn’t go below 71° our entire stay. It was also an 80° day. I immediately told the worker at the front it wasn’t working and he ensured us it takes a few hours to kick in. Hours later, it barely budged and didn’t all night long. The bathroom had an odd smell as well and I saw 1 bug crawling on the bathroom floor. When checking out, the receptionist asked how our stay was and I told her about the thermostat and she didn’t even acknowledge what I said. For what I paid ($340), I’m disappointed.

Clean hotel and rooms, good service, and comfortable beds and pillows. We heard from our friends that the hotel bar and restaurant was good, we just ran out of time to visit. We would enjoy staying here again. My only drawback was that the room itself and shower was small. There may be larger rooms and maybe next time we will find out. Overall an excellent option for staying in Appleton.
