Wyndham Garden Appleton

The hotel was nice and clean, easy check in. The bed was comfortable. However, we were staying for our anniversary and I had booked a room with a jacuzzi tub in it several months in advance. Apparently a couple months before we came they removed all the jacuzzi tubs out of rooms and put in a queen bed instead. The room was nice, but it was just my husband and I, we didnt need a 2nd bed. I specifically booked a jacuzzi tub. It would have been nice if they would have notified people prior in case we wanted to book elsewhere. The room still costed us the same too even though we didnt have the jacuzzi tub which didnt make sense to me. Our shower also had a constant leak/drip.

Rooms were okay. Some updates had been done but there were still some old, crusty parts such as the AC units. The breakfast was terrible - Limited options and the breakfast area was untidy. There was no one tending the area. Ended up having to go to a restaurant to feed my family due to the poor breakfast.

Centrally located, reasonably priced, unique rooms with the ability to have more than the traditional 2 beds which is very convenient for families with adult children, or order teens having their own attached room. Breakfast was decent. Definitely will stay again when I’m back in town

I was there for my kids soccer game for 1 night. Room was clean, breakfast was good. Overall good experience.

Save yourself a huge headache and stay elsewhere. I had a reservation for a 2-bunk and king bed room and was given a double queen instead at check in. Make sure to see the room before you sign anything. Refused to give correct room type or refund the difference in price. I wasted 2 hours on the phone and still have no resolution several weeks after the fact. Nightmare experience.

Very dirty when I arrived… clearly the housekeeping staff does a real thorough job. There was pee on the base of the toilet when I got there and sticky spots on the counters. And the woman at the desk was super rude to me when I was checking in, tried telling me I was going to have to pay $20 more than what I paid when I booked online, even though she acknowledged that their prices were listed wrong online. How would I know that… when you book something online, you pay what it charges. If those prices aren’t correct, that’s on you. And then she was rude to me as if it was my mistake. Definitely staying somewhere else next time.

If there was a minus star to click I would have clicked a minus 5. Jessica the assistant manager was completely unprofessional and rude. Truly could care less about being helpful. After telling me there wasn't anything she could do to help with a horrible situation she actually hung up on me. I do believe Wyndham will be contacted about this property. There's more to this situation that's like a bad dream, all I will say is "Stay somewhere else"!!!

This stay was awful from start to finish. We were put in a room that was actively under renovation, and the staff—especially the manager—were rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. We booked this hotel specifically for the pool, only to be told *after* check‑in that it was closed and out of order. As if that wasn’t bad enough, we were woken up at 8 a.m. by loud construction banging directly above our room. No warning, no apology, no consideration for guests at all. This place is poorly managed and not worth the frustration. The shower was the only thing that wasn’t a complete failure.

Rooms were clean property was tidy. Hallway smelled like dirty diapers. Coffee machines in room did not have pods that fit in the machine that was in the room. Breakfast was meh.

Terrible, terrible, terrible. The hot tub didn't work. We didn't stay even one night, although we booked two. .. even though they wouldn't refund either night. When we went to complain to the front desk and ask for a refund or room upgrade, we were told we could leave. The general manager walked in with her arms crossed and instantly told us we could leave and she had to go because she was in the middle of a doordash delivery and had kids at home. The only way I can describe the staff is "ratchet". If you're thinking of staying here, go down the street to the Holiday Inn instead. They have a comparable price, their staff is wonderful and the hot tub is oh so relaxing... and works 😌.

This hotel is in process of being switched over from a best western to the Wyndham garden, so everything was a bit rough, but what was already converted was nice. I'm not sure if they're going to change this aspect or not, but the room we were in felt like we were 10 years old cuz the furniture was surprisingly tall. The bed, kitchenette, nightstands, TV stand, and desk all felt taller than average. It was interesting. Bathroom and jacuzzi rooms were normal though. Fireplace and huge bay windows in the jacuzzi room.
