My go to when I visit Austin. In the heart of the vibrant East Austin area loaded with great bars, restaurants and coffee shops all walking distance. The staff is amazing and it’s clean and quiet. Will definitely return.
For the price and views it was def worth it. Super convenient and extremely friendly staff. Destiny was and is awesome!
We liked it very much, we had a lot of fun.
The service was excellent, I loved the styling, it was very unique and a fun place to stay.
Ava the manager was kind enough to refund our parking for the mistunderstanding and inconveniece for us. Thank you Ava for being understnding and willingness to correct the situation. We appreciate it very much. As to potential guest. I advise that the hotel garage for $38 does not have an hourly option. There is plenty of metered street parking on the side street and down the block. Use the Park ATX app for street parking. It's a big savings.
Super clean amazing vibe great and respectful staff
Con- noise, and parking, price for what we paid, cheap air fresheners placed In the room. Pro- location, comfortable bed. Stayed at the East Austin Hotel in one of the micro suites and overall had a mixed experience. The bed was honestly super comfortable and the room itself was cozy, modern, and had a cool minimalist feel. The whole hotel has a trendy boutique vibe that fits Austin perfectly. The location is definitely one of the best parts close to downtown, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and lots of places to explore. It made getting around Austin really easy and convenient without needing to travel far. The pool area was nice and very easy to access from the rooms, which we really liked. Having the restaurant downstairs was also really convenient and added to the overall experience. The shared bathrooms were ok and were always kept clean, but personally I didn’t love the shared bathroom setup. The Keurig coffee machine in the room was also surprisingly difficult to use and a bit frustrating in the morning. The air fresheners throughout the hotel were also really overpowering. I was surprised they used such heavily scented chemical products considering many people have sensitivities or reactions to artificial fragrances. The biggest downside was definitely the noise. I really can’t emphasize enough how loud it was at night. The noise came from the clubs right outside the hotel and went late into the night. Even earplugs didn’t help much. If you’re a light sleeper, this could really affect your stay. Staff were somewhat friendly, Overall, this hotel is a great location, beds, and nice amenities, but the noise level and shared bathroom setup may not be for everyone.
