Omni Austin Hotel at Southpark

Lovely hotel near downtown has great service.

Very dated hotel with lots of renovations needed. Room is musty and damp.

4 pm - 10 pm the bar in the lobby is great !!!!

This is not a four star hotel 😭 rooms feel icky and sticky. Found hair on the bathroom floor at check in. Mattress from sofa bed is BUSTED up and the house keeping does not respond. We had to go to the front desk for our requested blanket and just not what you expect for a “four star hotel” 👎 won’t be back

My stay at the Austin Southpark Hotel was a truly enjoyable experience from start to finish. The check in process was smooth and the front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The location is convenient with easy access to all the great things Austin has to offer. The amenities are excellent and the overall atmosphere of the hotel is warm and inviting. I would not hesitate to stay here again on my next visit to Austin and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the area.

I was really disappointed with my stay. The hotel itself feels very outdated, and unfortunately, we had a major issue with our room. Our bathroom flooded twice during our visit, and the source of the problem was never identified. While the cleaning crew was kind and did their best to help, the front desk staff was unhelpful and dismissive. Despite the repeated flooding and uncertainty about the cause, we were never offered a room change or any real solution. Another letdown was the pool. It was advertised as a heated pool, but it was not heated at all, which was really disappointing. Overall, the lack of urgency and customer care from the front desk Yasmine made an already frustrating situation worse. I wouldn’t stay here again unless significant improvements are made.

Booked this not caring about location and thinking I was getting a great deal on a “4 star” hotel. The property is dated and has a noticeable odor. The rooms were pretty and ok. I am hopeful the renovation they are currently working on will improve things. Where they shine is their staff. Heath is welcoming and kind, and as an Austinite, I am thrilled that he represents our city to visitors. Drinks are gorgeous also!

Not from Texas and we just checked out, had an absolute blast! Charles was phenomenal he helped us check in, and showed us some great local BBQ places nearby. Bill was so friendly helping us get breakfast for the day. Great guy. Marisha was very understanding and helped extend our stay until 1pm, she was very sweet and kind to us. Sauna was a fun experience(timer on the wall to the right of the door), gym looked great, can't wait to come back next year when the renovations are done!! Thanks guys!!
