Second stay at this Hyatt, the first stay was amazing! Sadly, this one wasn’t great. Courtnie told us we had a lake view room. But when we arrived for check In Leo said we did not. And that there were none. The lady behind us in line had 2 Rooms and the hotel had given one of her rooms away. They put my kids and I in a tiny room with a view of a construction site and hair all over the bathroom 😭 🤮 . We’ve spent hundreds of thousands with Hyatt, and usually it’s a great experience. Bummed this one wasn’t. Thankfully we did most things away from the hotel but would have loved to have a place to come back to and feel comfortable at.

My favorite hotel in Austin. Wonderful location and good rooms. The river view is awesome. Special thanks to Naty, at the omelette station, she was great and made a difference for us. Update June 2026: Front desk manager Jessica took excellent and efficient care of an issue created by my third party reservation. Brook was also very helpful at checkout. Nati, as usual, gave a special touch to those omelets, always a pleasure to interact with her.
