Do not buy anything from the bar. Deceiving menus and happy hour pricing. The most expensive happy hour menus ive seen over 22 dollars for a pre made margarita.

Swung by the bar on my business trip and had hilarious conversation with my bartender Chris. His service was great! I highly recommend this spot highly.

Chris the bartender made me and my girlfriends experience amazing! Super knowledgeable, makes incredible drinks, stellar taste in music, and had great recommendations for activities and fun around the area. A complete 10/10 experience, and we can’t wait to come back. Thanks again Chris!

Bartender Chris was the best. Very attentive service to mine and my husband’s drink orders with great recommendations. Very knowledgeable about Austin and gave us great pointers for things to do while we were in town. Loved his tattoos! Would definitely come again just to hang out with bartender Chris!

I stayed at the hotel for over a week in a pretty average room. I did not expect my bill to be over $5,500 I wasn’t aware that some night my room would be around 300$ and others over 600$ And then each day on top of my room rate there was TX Rec Fee State Occ Tax 6% TX Rec Fee City Occ Tax 11% Self Parking 30.00 Sales Tax State Occupancy Tax 6% City Occupancy Tax 11% 2.20 Paint in my bathroom was peeling off and grout was spotted with black. They have pretty much the worst infestation of birds and mosquitos I’ve ever experienced so if you enjoy sleeping past sunrise Goodluck. At one point my bathroom mirror fell off the wall and they glued it back on which left for a chemical odor but they gave me a fan and a noise machine. The staff is kind but if I knew the price would’ve been 5.5k $ I would’ve stayed at the commodore Perry. Truly shocking price tag for a truly below average experience. They don’t even offer room service. The service was kind and the aesthetic was nice but.. not for the price tag. And this is all coming from a local. The music from across the street till 2 am wouldn’t bother me if I didn’t have to be woken up by a million birds at 6 and being covered by mosquito bites. 5.5k later I could’ve gone on a nice vacation but now I guess I can get a shirt that says “I spent $5.5k at hotel San Jose and all I got was mosquito bites” On multiple occasions I voiced the birds (I was told interior designers are against anything that may deter birds and there used to be someone that would get rid of the nests but he retired, mosquitos (they don’t do citronella candles), a weird water sound from walls, explained to me as probably air conditioning units from other rooms. I’m just.. at a loss for words.
