Historic Hotel Bethlehem

MY friend and I stayed there for 3 nights for a short vacation. We chose this hotel for comfort, luxury and relaxing. Our experience was far from it. The room was extremely cold . No heat . As per front desk who are not very helpful the heat was turned off for the season. Slept ( barely slept) with a space heater. Paid a lot of money for a motel stay. Front desk personnel during the day time could care less. Not a luxury hotel by any means

Just exquisite!! Service is incredible, food is delicious, and it's so beautiful! We attended a wedding reception and were simply blown away!

My husband and I stayed in their top floor suite for one night on our way up state. we were both exhausted from our international flight and took advantage of the hotel’s comfortable in room accommodations. the bed and sofa were each extremely comfortable, the working desk nook was spacious, the bathroom was generous with its size and layout, and our view of the town was just lovely. the hotel itself is very beautiful and while we didn’t take advantage of any dining experiences (jet lagged) we have full intention to return and try their food next time we pass through pennsylvania. the hotel staff was a particularly wonderful compliment to the hotel’s hospitality. we had a nice chat with an excellent member of their staff who helped us with our luggage and from his welcome and attention to our needs, we both felt very grateful to have selected historic hotel bethlehem as our landing spot from our journey into the US.

Arrived with anticipation of a memorable night, which it was. After waiting a few months to get a reservation targeted my wedding anniversary to be the date. Service was friendly and very aware of our celebration; unfortunately there was a disconnect from service to kitchen. Ordered a salad and never made it to the table. Two orders of NY Strip, order accommodated my wife dairy allergy but kitchen added the dairy dressing to her order not mine; greens over cooked a flavorless, best part of dish was the potatoes. Expressed displeasure to waitress and two drinks were comped on her - much appreciated however, not the best drinks either. Weekday staff must be different from weekend staff.

We were there for a wedding. We stayed there and we had issues with the room they gave us. They moved us to a different room. The air conditioning was not the best I can not say enough for the service! The people were amazing! The staff at the wedding reception was exceptional and the food was amazing!

From the minute you arrive staff are there to assist you. We found everyone professional and pleasant. The rooms and public areas are kept in pristine condition. Food was delicious and bar service second to none. We look forward to returning in the near future.

We were invited to a repast brunch in a dining hall on the mezzanine level. The food was top notch, the servers very attentive, the lobby atmosphere pleasant with an automated piano playing a soft melody in the background. We didn't stay at hotel, but our experience was very nice!

Traveled here for the weekend for an anniversary and the hotel is absolutely wonderful. Aesthetically it looks wonderful and you’re on Main Street so you are close to a lot of shops which was a plus for us. The rooms looked great and had an old feeling to it and room service was excellent. The 4 stars was only because our bed wasn’t the best, definitely woke up a little sore BUT besides that everything else about this hotel is lovely. We will definitely be coming back again next time we are in the area.
