It's like a hostel.5 min walk from subway. Cheap as chips would recommend if you are on budget
Horrible staff. I strongly recommend **HI Boston Hostel**, which is nearby and similarly priced. I booked 2 nights but stayed only 1 night. 1. Around 9 AM on the second morning, I was leaving when another person with large luggage approached the entrance at the same time. 2. I did not intentionally let anyone in; I was simply leaving. 3. Staff immediately spoke through the intercom and warned that they would charge me. 4. About 30 minutes later, they texted that they would cancel my reservation if it happened again. 5. I tried contacting them by text, phone, and email, but received no reply. 6. Around 12 PM, they suddenly called and said my reservation was canceled and my belongings would be put outside in the backyard. 7. When I returned around 2 PM, they did not let me back in to pack my own belongings. 8. My belongings had already been removed without my consent. Reply to staff: 1. Your own intercom video appears to confirm my account: I was leaving the hostel, not intentionally letting anyone in. 2. I never yelled at staff, as the video clearly shows. 3. Staff spoke to me in an agitated tone and warned that I would be charged, even though I was simply leaving.
I was disappointed by this hostel, everything old and small, not worth the price paid!
Excellent place, spacious and super clean. Plenty of restrooms available at all times and a very comfortable place to work on my computer. Very nice neighborhood and close to a train station.
Good afternoon Melita Toniolo, everything was fine last night. Here are the full lyrics to Vasco Rossi's song, "I want a life that's reckless. I want a life like the ones in the movies. I want an exaggerated life. I want a life like Steve McQueen."
stayed here for 6 nights, and several issues made the stay uncomfortable. First, the place was way too cold. I was given only a very thin blanket, and when I asked for extra bedding, I was given a bath towel! At first I thought it was funny and asked for a proper blanket. Nope, this was it. I also agree with other reviewers that the property seemed to need a general cleaning. The toilet situation was a real problem. I actually started by brushing my teeth and flushing first, just to see whether it could handle even that small amount of water. That turned out not to be something one could assume. Several times, even the toothpaste foam did not flush away properly. The property was covered with Post-it notes and longer notices about rules, fines, and guest behavior. In the toilet area, there were more notes than seemed reasonable, including instructions about cleanliness, using the plunger, and what to do if the toilet overflowed. The overall impression was that if something went wrong, it became the guest’s problem. I also want to mention the $50 authorization hold. I was told that a $50 security deposit hold had been placed, but it was still showing as reserved on my account 24 hours after checkout. That added to the uncertainty, especially as the communication was not reassuring. Overall, between the cold, the lack of real cleanliness, the poor-quality furnishings, the bombardment of notes about rules and fines, and the toilets — which ended up being far too memorable — the place had a distinctly unfriendly atmosphere.
