About this place Boston Harbor Hotel

The Boston Harbor Hotel sits right on the water, exactly where you’d expect it to be, in downtown Boston. It’s a polished place, the kind of luxury hotel that delivers on promises of attentive service and plush rooms, which makes it a solid bet for LGBTQ+ travelers who want a comfortable stay in the city.

Rooms and suites come with what you need: minifridges, work desks, free WiFi. A lot of them look out onto the harbor, others face downtown. Some suites even have private balconies, if you want to take your morning coffee outside. The Aquarium T station is only 0.3 miles away, putting the whole city within easy reach on public transit. And if you’re in town for a conference, the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center is close by.

From here, you’re well-placed to check out Boston’s LGBTQ+ scene or just explore the city’s restaurants, bars, and museums. It’s an upscale base, no doubt, but one that puts you right at the center of things.

This is such a top notch hotel. Service was truly exceptional. Even got a Boston Harbor hotel plush for our baby. Rooms are spacious and charming. Some have commented on it being less modern which is true, but I think it’s an intentional historic charm (beautiful wood panelings, brass fixtures, etc). To each their own, I personally preferred this. The waterfront is very special too. The pool and gym were excellent, some of the best fitness amenities I’ve been to in a hotel, even with the Hyperice massagers. Also had a conference in their conference center which is amazing, waterfront views, and beautiful conference rooms.

It's mainly for the view that it's worth going.
